Manchester rabbi: ‘We can't despair… We can't give up’ | BBC News

In one of his first interviews since the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue attack, in Manchester, England, Rabbi Daniel Walker says the Jewish community “can’t give up”.

Speaking to Radio ...
4 Today’s Emma Barnett, Rabbi Walker said he has no “mental space” to think about why the attacker did it.

He also said that a visit from King Charles earlier this month showed him that “society cares” about the Jewish community.

Two congregants - Adrian Daulby and Melvin Kravitz – were killed and three others seriously injured when Jihad Al-Shamie rammed a car into and stabbed worshippers.

He was later shot dead by police. The inquest into the victims’ deaths begins on 29 October.
