Trump targets Somali community in Minnesota, accusing them of 'destroying' the US
It comes as federal authorities prepare to ...launch an immigration crackdown, targeting hundreds of undocumented Somalis in the state of Minnesota.
Al Jazeera’s Patty Culhane has more from Washington, DC.
Trump took particular aim at Democrat congresswoman Ilhan Omar, who was born in Somalia.
He says she should "be thrown out of the country." Omar responded to the president's threats.
Omar Fateh is a Minnesota State Senator. He says language matters and hateful rhetoric has consequences.
