Malaysian rapper Namewee released from remand amid influencer murder probe

Malaysian rapper Namewee was released on police bail on Thursday (Nov 13) after a week in remand, amid a murder probe into the death of Taiwanese influencer Iris Hsieh Yu-hsin.
The ...
rapper, whose real name is Wee Meng Chee, left Dang Wangi police headquarters, where he had been in custody, at around 3.50pm without speaking to the media.
Malaysia's Attorney-General Dusuki Mokhtar earlier said there is no evidence showing that Wee caused Hsieh's death. #malaysianews #malaysia #irishsieh #namewee
